The international order that governed the world for the last 30 years, from the collapse of the Berlin Wall to the rise of the MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement, seems to have come to an end. With Donald Trump’s return to the White House in 2025, the international system based on the rules of international law and multilateral diplomacy has given way to a new “realist” concept in which the “right of might” replaces the traditional “might of right.”
