Maritime Strategy

Europe, western Cape of the Eurasian continent is bordered by many seas and has inherited old maritime cultures. The maritime nations, members of the EU, have a common responsibility regarding the Union maritime security. Outside territorial waters, the sea is international. This is a fact which requires more and more co-ordination from the bordering states and becomes all the more topical as globalisation has a strong influence on the
maritime affairs.
